Police deployed specialist-trained officers in Weedon today to step up their search for missing Silverstone man, Karl Denney, who has not been seen for two weeks.

Karl was last seen at about midday on Saturday, December 14th, at the Weedon Tesco Express on the A45 and heading north along the A5. There have been no reported sightings of him since.

We searched an area around Flore last week and we're expanding the search today".

The specialist teams will be searching the land from the River Nene northwards towards to the roundabout at Old Mill Race and across the countryside to the A5 at Flore.

About 40 volunteers from Northants Search and Rescue and Warwickshire Search and Rescue are helping with this morning's operation.

Karl is described as white, 5ft 11in, of a slim build, with dark grey medium length hair and grey stubble. He was last seen wearing dark trousers, a dark top and a dark cap.
